About Treemart
TreeMart sprouted up in Tampa in 1987.
Initially a family-owned enterprise, TreeMart began its journey as a wholesale nursery and retail landscape services provider. In September 2021, the business changed hands, with Jim, Tina, and Nick Sears becoming its new proprietors. Nick is a first responder and also devotes his free time to the family business, following his father’s passion for the landscape and nursery trade. Jim’s extensive knowledge of retail store design and customer service was developed at a young age while managing a large name brand grocery store. Following that, Jim has over two decades of experience in the landscaping industry and has used that knowledge to grow this and other businesses in his portfolio.
Today, the Sears family aims to transform TreeMart into one of the largest and most renowned wholesale and retail nurseries in the Tampa Bay area.

Equally important, we have our own cranes and 18-wheelers to move and plant our specialty palms and trees so you won’t have sticker shock later when you’re trying to get a large palm or tree into the ground.

In the spring, we typically offer tulips, lilies, pansies, and primroses. In summer, our inventory focuses on sunflowers, hydrangea, peonies, hibiscus, and roses. When fall arrives, we turn our attention to mums, marigolds, celosia, and golden rod. In the winter, well in advance of the holiday season, we offer an explosion of red and green in Christmas cactuses, poinsettias, Christmas roses, and Christmas wreaths.
